Galaxy Note10+ screen keeps flickering fix #1: Check for screen damage

The screens of Samsung Galaxy devices, especially those of flagship S and Note series, are known for reliability even after years of use. They can withstand the normal wear and tear of regular years for a long time without encountering problems. However, they still remain relatively weak against accidental drops and all sorts of physical damage to the device. If the screen on your Galaxy Note10+ keeps flickering after you’ve dropped the phone or hit it with something hard, there may be a hardware issue that you need to take care first. Check for telltale signs of hardware damage by looking for a crack or dent. A damaged screen also may not only display issues in showing images. If you experience having an unresponsive touchscreen, or if there are other issues with the phone after it has been dropped or physically damaged, you should consider letting a Samsung technician check it. Try restarting it normally first by pressing the Power button to access the boot menu. Then, select Restart option and see if that works.

Another way to restart the device is by pressing and holding the Volume Down button and the Power key at the same time for 10 seconds or until the device’s screen turns on. This simulates the effect of having disconnected the battery from the device. If this works, this may unlock the device.

Another possible reason for your problem may be a third party app. Sometimes, a third party app may interfere with Android and causes problems. Once you successfully access Recovery, that’s the time that you begin proper master reset procedure. It may take some tries for you before you can access Recovery so be patient and simply try again.
