S9+ Pokemon Go Not Working On Mobile Data

Problem: Just changed from Samsung S7 to S9+ and Pokemon Go cannot play when in 4G mode. No problem when on wifi. Changed to a new sim card but problem still persist. Hotspot using other sim card works but not my sim card. Please help.

Solution: Since you have already made sure that the mobile network is not causing the problem then the next step you should do is to make sure that your phone is running on the latest software update. These updates usually have bug fixes that resolves known issues. If your phone is already running on the latest software version then you will need to uninstall the Pokemon Go app then install a fresh version from the Google Play Store. Before running the app make sure that you are able to go online with your phone using your mobile data subscription. If you are unable to go online using a mobile data connection then you should make sure that your phone has the correct APN settings.

In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should consider doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.

S9+ Facebook Prompts To Update Profile

Problem: I am having an issue with my Facebook account. It keeps telling me to update my profile, when I click on it, it takes me to a blank page. I have tried many of the suggestions prior to sending you this email. I can’t figure it out. I am just really confused on what I am doing wrong. I also use my iPad for a lot of things and have a app code generator set up to login for both devices. I am using Puffin Web browser to log in to my Facebook account under the same credentials as my Android, since Apple doesn’t support Adobe flash player. I don’t have a second mobile number to help me login to Facebook under different credentials. Apple will not update Puffin browser. It’s 5.2 version on my iPad and it’s 7.2 version on my S9 plus.

Solution: You should try accessing your Facebook account from a computer browser then update your profile. Once this is done try to check if the issue still occurs. If it does then you should consider downloading the Facebook app in your phone instead of logging in using the Puffin web browser.
