S7 Edge Only Charges When Off
Problem: Phone doesn’t charge while on, no lightning bolt either. Charges while turned off battery with lightning bolt comes on then goes off & on and off. Used to have a green charging meter with the percent as it was charging, just battery with lightning bolt on & off. Tried using a different cable still the same. Any Ideas. Thanks

Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case is to make sure that the charging port of the phone is free from any dirt or debris. Use a can of compressed air to clean this port. Once the port is clean try using a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. In case it does then one of the pins of the charging port might be damaged ( you will need to have this checked at a service center).
There’s also a possibility that this problem can be caused by an app you downloaded. To check if this is the case you should backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S7 Edge No Command Error
Problem: Hello. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge which shuts itself off and then does not want to turn back on. The battery is brand new as it previously wasn’t holding a charge. I was able to turn it back on by a soft reset but now it said it was installing an update which was then reported as failed “no command.” Now it says Recovery Mode at the top and offers me these choices:
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Solution: The no command error will usually occur on a phone when a software update or process has been cancelled or interrupted. The best way to resolve this issue is to start the phone in recovery mode then perform the following steps.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone,
- Perform a factory reset. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
S7 Edge Not Turning On With Solid Blue LED Light
Problem: hi i got a galaxy S7 Edge i noticed battery life getting low then it died i was changing it it got to 78% then i unplugged it and tried to turn it on and nothing would happen. so couple of weeks later i got a new battery i’ve just installed it and now when i press the power button a light blue light comes on but nothing else happens any ideas? the blue light has been on.for hours and nothings else is happen it stays on
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do in this particular case is to make sure that the battery has sufficient charge. Charge the phone first for at least 20 minutes. If it doesn’t charge then try cleaning the charging port using a can of compressed air. Use a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone. Turn on the phone by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons. If the problem persists then try to check if you are able to access the recovery mode. From here I suggest that you do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the above steps don’t work then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it repaired.
S7 Edge Fast Charging Not Working
Problem: I have a fast charging cable and adapter it charges fine when my phone is unlocked but when I press the screen lock button the charging goes off and on and the fingerprint sensor doesn’t seem to work when using the adapter. The cable is fine but I have to use a different adapter if I actually want my phone to charge
Solution: For this particular problem try cleaning the charging port of the phone first using a can of compressed air. Once this is done try using a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone.
In case the issue persists then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. This will allow you to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you should have the phone checked and repaired at a service center.
