J7 Not Connecting To Wi-Fi Network

Problem: I have got a problem, my Samsung J7 doesn’t want to connect to wifi.  It gives me option to key in password but after that it just says “saved, secured”  and I can’t get on internet. I’ve been buying data since I bought this phone in February 2018, I can’t afford it anymore, please help me to connect to wifi.

Solution: Try to check if this issue occurs with any Wi-Fi network that your phone tries to connect to. If it only occurs on one particular network then the problem could be with the network router. If the problem occurs for any network that your phone tries to connect to then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Forget the Wi-Fi connection from the phone. Restart the device then try connecting to the Wi-Fi network again.
  • Check if the issue occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode then check if the issue still occurs.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Not Connecting To Wi-Fi Or Bluetooth

Problem: I can turn on wifi and see available networks but i cannot connect to any of them. Same things happens for bluetooth. Bluetooth connection is also not possible and hotspot is opened in my phone but no one near can see that hotspot

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch. You should backup your phone data then do a factory reset. If after the reset the issue still persists then it’s very likely that the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip of the phone is faulty. If this is the case then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Keeps Disconnecting From The Wi-Fi Network

Problem: I bought a used samsung galaxy J7 to my mother and it keeps disconnecting from the internet so you have to go to parameters connection wifi and reset it until it want to go online because you may have to do this many times also the galaxy S6 edge of my brother does this too and the S6 of a friend to my mother happens to do this too. My Galaxy S6 edge doesn’t do that but it is rooted so when I woke up this morning I taught hey maybe of they are rooted they would stop or something like that but I don’t know it should not need a rooting permission to stop lagging

Related Problem: I previously got the samsung galaxy note 4 and had little to no issues with the network or wi-fi with it but i now have the samsung galaxy J7 and for some reasons my network is really laggy and it stick to the wi-fi even tho i left home and it take a really long time to connect to the server/wi-fi. Most of the time i’m observing this issue when i’m on messenger (it happened on any app but i see it more on messenger as i see the trying to connect to internet) do you have any ideas of what it could be? My boyfriend got himself the same phone and doesn’t experience this at all

Solution: If other devices are also having the same problem when connecting to the Wi-Fi network then this could be a router related problem. To check if this is the case you can try connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.

  • Check if the problem occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
