Solutions to the Galaxy S3 Overlapping Texts

According to one Samsung Galaxy S3 user, he is having a problem reading the contents of a website due to the texts overlapping each other. He tried to solve the problem by restarting his phone a couple of times, which did not work.

There is a similar complaint in DroidForums and the Galaxy S3 user even uploaded a screenshot of his problem which appears below:

Based on the same forum, this problem happens when the font being used is too large. Due to the limitation in the software of the Galaxy S3, the phone has the tendency to squeeze all the contents in your screen which results in the distortion or overlapping of the texts.

How to Solve the Galaxy S3 Overlapping Texts

The solution for this problem is simple. All you have to do is reduce the size of the texts in the browser. Inside Galaxy says that it only involves the following steps:

1. From the Home screen, go to Apps.

2. Select Settings.

3. Proceed to the Display option.

4. Choose Font Size.

5. From there, select the font size that you prefer. Make sure that it is smaller than the current one you are using.

6. Tap Yes to confirm the font size that you want.

7. Tap the Home key to finish.

When browsing using the Galaxy S3 and you are experiencing overlapping texts another way to fix the problem is by choosing the Desktop version of the website instead of the Mobile version. There are also apps that will allow you to adjust your texts automatically so you will not have to switch to Desktop view every now and then whenever you are having a hard time reading webpage contents. You can easily find them in the Google Play store.
