How To Set Daily Play Time Limit on Nintendo Switch
To enable this feature, the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app needs to be installed on your smart device. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices. Ensure that the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app is linked to your Nintendo device. Then you can activate the feature by following the steps below.
- Launch the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app from your smart device.
- Select Settings located at the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Play Time Limit.
- In this screen, you can choose one or more of these options:
Set Days Individually – applicable if you prefer to schedule different time limits for each day.
Play Time Limit – use when setting the same schedule daily.
Bedtime Alarm – this Parental Control feature is used when you want to stop the gameplay on a specific time.
Suspend Software – if enabled, the software of the Nintendo Switch system will automatically stop as the time limit is reached. This option is found at the bottom of the screen.
