Samsung Galaxy S8 Stuck In Factory Binary Mode After Flashing

The #Samsung #Galaxy #S8 is one of the best Android smartphone model released last year. It has a solid well built design with  Gorilla Glass 5 glass on the front and back of its aluminum frame. This device sports a 5.8 inch Super AMOLED display which is great in reproducing colors. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 835 processor which when used in tandem with its available 4GB of RAM allows the device to run any app smoothly. Although this is a solid performing phone there are instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the Galaxy S8 stuck in binary mode after flashing issue and other related problems.

S8 Stuck In Factory Binary Mode After Flashing

Problem: I flashed my phone and now i’m stuck in factory binary mode and it is not letting me exit no matter what. Its a samsung S8 i don’t know where i went wrong if you can help that would be great

Solution: It looks like something went wrong during the flashing process. Try starting the phone in recovery mode then from here wipe the cache partition of the device. Download the latest stock firmware update of your phone from the Sammobile website and flash it to your phone using Odin.

In case the issue still persists then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this could already be caused by a faulty hardware component.

S8 Google Play Store Services Are Disabled

Problem: my phone model is Galaxy S8 . Google play store services are disabled. So I cannot access any other apps to. Also force stop and and disable options are inactive.so I tried uninstalling the updates but it denied with the message, cannot be uninstalled because of administrator issues. I tried to reset the whole device but again it got stuck in reboot window.i get the options after pressing and holding volume up+power+ bixby but those options are not working. On a total disappointment note, I am completely dissatisfied with the device and would never ever recommend the samsung smartphones to anybody I know.

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now in this particular case is to start the phone in recovery mode then do a factory reset from here. If you are able to backup your phone data before doing the reset then I suggest that you do so.

  • Turn off the phone.
  • Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  • When the Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will show for about 30 – 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
  • Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe data / factory reset.
  • Press Power button to select.
  • Press the Volume down key until ‘Yes — delete all user data’ is highlighted.
  • Press Power button to select and start the master reset.
  • When the master reset is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
  • Press the Power key to restart the device.

In case the problem still persists after this then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S8 Stuck In Samsung Logo

Problem: hi, I am facing this issue that when the phone  is switched on it makes a very high pitched sound and Samsung  logo appears ..but then its stuck at that logo forever. i tried charging it it charges up but still no effect. i flashed it with the stock rom using odin, putting the phone in downloading mode it shows success in odin but the phone is still as it is. when it is turned on in recovery mode an error message occurs ” E : Failed to mount /efs (invalid argument) “, wiping cache partition in the recovery mode shows success but factory data reset is not working and same error message appears. please tell me how to fix.

Solution: If you have already flashed the phone with its stock firmware file but the problem still remains then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S8 Software Update Keeps On Appearing

Problem: After downloading and successfully installing Oreo, twice now because of the message I keep getting, system update keeps indicating that I need to update the latest software, Oreo. The phone keeps telling me that I have that one unattended to task. The Android version installed is showing correctly oreo

Solution: The problem is most likely caused by a software glitch. The first thing you need to do is to backup your phone data. Once this is done start the phone in recovery mode then wipe the cache partition of the phone. Follow this up with a factory reset. The issue should be resolved after the reset.
