S8+ Camera Failed Error
Problem: My s8 plus is a month old.recently i have been having problems with the camera.It always shows camera failed.I checked the front camera and iris scanner using services both of them are working fine although the rear cam still fails to open. I have tried everything on the net but to no avail. How can i fix this.Should i give it to the store. Does my warranty cover camera problemz?
Solution: As long as you haven’t dropped the phone then the camera issue that you are experiencing is covered by the warranty. Before bringing the phone to a service center you should first perform the troubleshooting steps listed below which usually fixes this particular problem.
- Clear the cache and data of the camera app from the application manager.
- Start the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
- If the phone has a microSD card installed then try removing it.
- Wipe the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S8+ Text Message Not Sending But Received By Recipient
Problem: The text messages that i send out are going through because most people respond, but they’re going through super delayed and when they send it shows a red exclamation point in a circle next to my sent out message (showing like it’s not going through but it is). So if people dont respond im not sure if they really got them or if it didn’t go through. I could be wrong but i believe i tried rebooting my phone…idk what else to do.
Solution: Try performing the troubleshooting steps listed below to fix this particular problem.
- Removing and reinserting SIM.
- Restarting phone, with and without SIM.
- Tried a different message app.
- Wiping Message cache.
- Wiping system cache.
- Wiping entire phone. (Make sure to backup your phone data before performing this step)
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you need to update your phone to the latest software version as this is most likely caused by a software glitch.
S8+ Front Camera Stopped Working
Problem: I have a samsung s8+ just got it about 4 months ago and the front camera stop working, took it back to best buy than to verizon and also called samsung. Phone still is broke and they want me to pay to have it fixed what a bummer I am still paying for a 900 dollar phone that does not work correctly.
Solution: If this issue is caused by a software glitch then the troubleshooting steps listed below should take care of the problem. After performing a step immediately check if the issue still occurs. If it does you should then proceed to the next step.
- Clear the cache and data of the camera app from the application manager.
- Start the phone in Safe Mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it is most likely caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

S8+ Screen goes Black During A Call
Problem: Hello, Whenever I’m on a phone call (speakerphone) the screen goes Black and I can’t press #’s or hang up unless I press the side button – for it to enlighten the fu…back up so I can have access (See!) the screen again. First Samsung. Came from an Iphone and then an HTC (- “One M8″ – Excellent Phone!!). It seems like a design flaw (read: …”Can’t be fixed!”) on a cheap ass phone – glitch! Totally disappointed! Also, the Touch screen has no sensitivity calibration and it does have “touch” issues too! Definitely can’t use a screen protector. Please help! Thank you!
Solution: When you are on a call and you place your phone to your ear the display will turn off. This prevents the accidental pressing of the phone menu by your ears. It is also one way to save on battery life. However, if the screen stays black on a call even if you are not placing the phone to your ear then this is a problem. To fix this just follow the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Clear the cache and data of the phone app from the application manager.
- Try wiping the cache partition of the phone from the recovery mode.
- Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
S8+ Text Message Of One Contact Is Blank
Problem: I know a lot about phones and how to fix them so I have tried everything that I know already and absolutely nothing has worked so what is wrong is that all of my text messages are normal when I send people messages I can see the conversation just fine and only one person which happens to be my mother the conversation doesn’t show up if I type in her number or her name to text her it lets me type to her but the minute I hit enter it just is blank the whole conversation box how can I fix this I have literally tried everything thank you
Solution: To fix this problem try deleting the affecte conversation thread from your phone first. Once this is done clear the cache and data of the text messaging app from the application manager. Check if the issue still occurs. If it does then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
