S6 Edge Power Button Stuck Not Turning On
Problem: My power button suddenly got stuck inside and the device turned off. Now I’ve managed to unstick the button but it won’t turn back on or charge. Checked the charger leads etc but they are working fine. The device just is unresponsive, the charger light doesn’t even come on
Solution: The first thing you need to do in this case is to make sure that the battery has sufficient charge to turn on the phone. This is why you will need to charge the phone first by following the steps listed below.
- Clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air. Make sure that any dirt or debris present in the port gets removed as this could cause charging issues.
- Charge your phone for at least 20 minutes. Use a different charging cord and wall charger that are known to work.
- If the phone does not respond to the charging done above then simulate a battery pull by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
- Try charging your phone from a computer USB port.
There are several different scenarios that can happen after this.
If the phone does not charge and remains unresponsive then you will need to bring it to a service center and have it checked.
If the phone does not charge and does not turn on then you will still need to bring it to a service center and have it checked.
If the phone charges but does not turn on then there might be a problem with the power button. Try to check on this button again. If it looks to be faulty then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Not Turning On Flashing Blue Light
Problem: My phone wont turn on, it’s just flashing a blue light and that is it. It won’t respond to a charger or holding the power button for seven seconds. This has happened before when my phone was at 90% and it took days for it to die. The last time I used it the battery was at 20-30%.
Related Problem: The phone was on, screen went black, and a green light is flashing. The phone won’t respond to anything. The screen won’t come on and none of the resets are working.
Solution: For this particular problem you will need to simulate a battery pull first by pressing and holding both power and volume down keys for at least 10 seconds. This will force the phone to restart. If you are not getting any results then try charging your phone first for at least 20 minutes. Make sure that you get the charging indicator. After charging the phone then try turning it on. If the problem persists then you will need to wait for your phone to be totally drained then charge your phone again and turn it on. You should also check if the phone can turn on in recovery mode. If it can then you should consider doing a factory reset from here. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fail to work then you should try flashing your phone with its updated stock firmware file. You can download the firmware file of your phone from the Sammobile website which will also have instructions on how to flash your phone.
S6 Edge Not Turning On After Getting Wet
Problem: My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge fell into the toilet, it didn’t even reached 2 seconds and I pulled it out. As I pulled it out, an error message came out saying “camera failed” and then it turned black. I put it in rice for a few hours, I tried to turn it on but it won’t. I charged it, it charged but it won’t turn on. it just shows the charging icon. Is it still possible for it to work again?
Solution: You will need to place the phone in a bag of rice for at least 48 hours. Once this is done check if the phone charges and turns on. If it doesn’t then a component inside the phone has been water damaged. You will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S6 Edge Stuck In Samsung Screen
Problem: I tried a lot of times to power on my Samsung galaxy s6 edge phone in all ways as suggest by you, but it always failed. Just screen appears, “Samsung galaxy s6 edge, powered by android”. and this screen always remains the same when I tried to power on my phone. Home screen of phone never appears. Please give me solutions for this.
Solution: If you have already tried all of our suggestions for this particular issue then you should consider flashing your phone with its updated stock firmware file. If this fails to fix the problem then this might already be caused by an internal hardware component that is failing to work. S6 Edge Factory Reset Itself After Getting Wet
Problem: Hello, I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge down the loo, managed to take it out quickly and it worked briefly and turned off like it must have short circuited. I put it into a bag of rice for a few days whilst it was the weekend and arranged to send it to a forensic specialist to pull the data off. I have been advised that no data can come from the phone as it appears to have done a hard reset itself and has wiped all of my data from the phone, is this possible or am I being had here? Please help!!
Solution: When a phone gets wet the most likely thing that will happen is that some internal components might get shorted and damaged. It’s very rare that a hard reset will occur however if the water has affected the memory module of the phone then it’s possible that this might happen. Just to be sure try bringing your phone to another service center to get another opinion on the matter and to check if your phone has indeed been factory reset.
S6 Edge Overheating And Turning Off
Problem: The device is overheating and turning off Unable to delete games even in safe mode therefore getting nowhere. Unable to restore to factory settings.
Solution: Try doing a factory reset from the recovery mode. If you are unable to do the reset in this mode then you need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked since an overheating phone is a potentially dangerous device.

Problem: My phone is stuck in a loop after the new update , I have tried everything I can find on the internet. Safe mode , recovery mode and everything seems to not be working, I have a SM S6 Edge, and it was working fine up until the update last night.
Solution: If you have already tried a factory reset and it still doesn’t fix the problem then the phone software might already be corrupt. If this is the case then you should flash your phone with its updated stock firmware file.
