Troubleshooting Galaxy A10 that won’t connect to WiFi
When troubleshooting a smartphone that has some network-related issues, you have to be thorough so you can accurately determine what the problem is and fix it without losing some important files or data. With that being said, here’s what I suggest you do about it:
First solution: Perform the Forced Restart first
The very first thing that you have to do is the forced restart because this problem could be just a minor issue with the firmware or a result of a system glitch. It’s a very effective solution against all sorts of software issues including this one. So follow these simple steps to force reboot your Galaxy A10:

- Press and hold the Volume Down button and don’t release it yet.
- While holding down the volume button, press and hold the Power key as well.
- Keep both keys held down together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy A10 logo shows on the screen.
Once your phone has successfully rebooted, try to see it still won’t connect to the WiFi network because if so, then move to the next solution.
Second solution: Reset Network Settings
Instead of forgetting the current connection and let the phone reconnect to it, it’s best to just reset the network settings directly. It will delete all wireless connections and reload all network services. If this is just an issue with your phone’s wireless services, then this is more than enough to fix the problem. - Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
- Tap the Settings icon on the upper-right corner.
- Scroll to and tap General management.

- If prompted, enter your PIN, Password or Pattern.
- Finally, tap Reset.
Once the reset is finished, the WiFi switch is turned off, so enable it back, let your phone scan the area and then let it reconnect to the same network. If it still won’t connect to it, perhaps the problem is with the network devices.
Third solution: Power-cycle network devices to fix phone that won’t connect
Sometimes, network devices like your router and/or modem needs to have their memories refreshed. You don’t have to do anything special to achieve that. All you have to do is restart them and would often fix any network-related issues. To make it easier for you, just follow these steps:

- Your Galaxy A10 will continue to boot up into the Recovery Mode. Once you see a black screen with blue and yellow texts, proceed to the next step.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight ‘wipe data / factory reset’.
- Press Power button to select.
- Press the Volume down key until ‘Yes’ is highlighted.
- Press Power button to select and start the master reset.
- When the master reset is complete, ‘Reboot system now’ is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.
