How to Remove Google Account on Samsung Galaxy A10

Last Updated on: April 29, 2022 by Ronald

Are you planning to sell or swap your phone? If you do, you will need to remove Google account on Samsung Galaxy A10. This is an important procedure to do before you hand out your phone to a different person.

Removing the Google account on your Samsung Galaxy A10 will ensure that your device will be usable again by the next user, without any hassle. If the Google account has not been removed and the device will be reverted to its default configurations through a hard reset or factory reset, it will ask for the current Google account credentials to be entered before it can be set up successfully.

If you remove Google account on Samsung Galaxy A10, it will also provide you a peace of mind about your personal information being hacked or stolen. Deleting the Google account before a factory reset will remove all information on the device and will restart it like a new one.

Let us check on how you can remove Google account on Samsung Galaxy A10 by following the steps provided below.

Steps:

  1. Open Settings from the Home screen.
  1. Go to Accounts and backup.
  1. Select Accounts.
  1. Tap on the account that you want to delete/remove.
  1. Tap on Remove Account. Please note that removing the account will delete all of its messages, contacts and other data from the device.
  1. Tap on Remove Account to proceed or Cancel if you change your mind.

Now that you have successfully removed the Google account on your Galaxy A10, you can proceed with performing a factory reset to revert the phone to its default values and options.
