How To Fix Microsoft Teams Keeps Restarting

  • Restart your computer.

Method 1: Force close the software

The first thing you should do in this case is to refresh Microsoft Teams by closing it completely then running it again.

Time needed: 3 minutes.

  1. Right click the Start button then click on Task Manager.

Method 2: Delete Microsoft Teams cache files

  • Search for and delete the Teams folder.

Try running Microsoft Teams again. Take note that you will need to log in your account.

Method 3: Uninstall then reinstall Microsoft Teams

Sometimes this issue can be caused by a corrupted software installation. If this is what’s causing the problem you will need to uninstall the app from your computer then download a fresh version from the Microsoft website.
