Fixing the Realme X2 Pro that won’t turn on

Most of the time, when your smartphone powers down by itself and won’t turn on after that, the problem can be due to a system crash. It’s a pretty minor issue but it often leaves and impression that your device may have suffered from some serious hardware problems. Don’t worry though, you can actually fix it by doing the procedures below…

First solution: Force restart your Realme X2 Pro

A forced restart will always fix system crashes. It is a simulated battery removal that refreshes your phone’s memory as well as reloads its apps and services. Most of the time, this is all you need to do to make your Realme X2 Pro respond again. Here’s how it’s done:

  • Press the Volume Up button and the Power key at the same time, and then hold them both for 10 seconds or until the Realme logo shows.

The moment you see the Realme logo, that’s a sign that the problem is already fixed as you’ve made your phone respond again. However, if the phone still won’t turn on the first try, then do this procedure a few more times before moving on to the next solution.

Second solution: Charge your Realme X2 Pro and do the Forced Restart

If your phone did not respond after the first solution, then it’s possible that this problem was caused by a drained battery. Having a drained battery isn’t usually a problem because any device would respond immediately when connected to their chargers. However, there are times when you let your phone ran out of juice, that a system crash would occur. If this happens, you will be left with a phone that wouldn’t respond. But don’t worry, there’s something you can do about it…

  1. Plug the charger to a working wall outlet.
  2. Using the original cable, connect the phone to its charger.
  3. Regardless of whether the phone shows the charging symbol or not, leave it connected to the charger for at least 10 minutes.
  4. After which and while the phone is still connected to the charger, press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power key at the same time.
  5. Keep both keys held down together for 10 seconds or until the Realme logo shows on the screen.

As long as your phone doesn’t have any signs of physical or liquid damage, you should be able to fix this problem by doing either of the procedures I cited here. However, if your phone still won’t turn on after this, then it’s time you brought it to the shop so that a technician can check it up for you.
