Easy steps to Change the Default Language on Galaxy S20

The following steps will walk you through changing the default language on a Galaxy S20 handset. For easier navigation, I’ve also provided the screenshots depicting each step to help you visualize the actual menu or screen to access. Here’s how it works.
Swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen to access the Apps screen then tap Settings.
From the Apps screen, you’ll see different app shortcut icons. Find the Settings app icon then tap to open it. The Settings menu contains a list of main features and options to configure.
Scroll down and tap General management.
As the name implies, tapping this option will let you access and manage general settings such as language and input, date, time, and other relevant options.
Tap Language and input to continue.
A new screen that contains language and keyboard settings will show up next.
Tap Language.
On the next screen you will see the default language that’s currently selected or marked with a check.
To change the default language to your preferred language, tap the option to Add language.
A list of different languages will be displayed.
Select the language you'd like to use from the Samsung suggested list.
Just scroll down to view other languages and then tap your preferred language to use.
If prompted, tap Set as default to confirm that you'd like to use the newly selected language as default.
The default language is now changed.

If you’d like to change the language back to the default selection, just repeat the same steps until you get to the Language selection menu.
In the case where your preferred language is not available in the list, you can add it and then set it as the default language on your device.
To do this, go back to the Language menu then tap the option to Add language. Choose the desired language and region and follow the rest of the onscreen instructions.
To remove a language from the list, just select the language then tap Remove to confirm.
