The first one is by using the hardware buttons and the other one is through the help of the drop-down option. Together, these makes doing a screenshot on this device easy and fun. Method 1: How to capture screenshots on Xiaomi Mi 8 using hardware buttons
This is the simpler way to screenshot on Xiaomi Mi 8. Make sure that you’re pressing the right buttons when doing this. If at first try you’re not successful, just continue trying until you get it right. Here’s how:
- Prepare the screen or app you want to capture.
- Now press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons together.
- You will see a quick animation and hear a feedback sound that will show that a screenshot was just taken.
To check your captured image, just go to the Gallery app and look for the Screenshot album. Alternatively, you can manually go to Pictures > Screenshots folder and check all the images you’ve captured.
Method 2: How to capture screenshots on Xiaomi Mi 8 using the Drop-down Menu
