How to Pair Bluetooth Devices on Galaxy S25

Pairing Bluetooth accessories on your Galaxy S25 usually takes less than a minute once both devices are discoverable. The key is to put the accessory in pairing mode first, then connect from the phone’s Bluetooth menu.

Before you start

  • Charge both devices so pairing does not fail midway.
  • Keep the accessory within a few feet of the phone.
  • If the accessory was connected to another phone, disconnect it there first.

Pair a Bluetooth device on Galaxy S25

  1. Put the accessory in pairing mode. Press and hold its Bluetooth or power button until the indicator light flashes (pattern varies by brand).
  2. Open Bluetooth settings on your Galaxy S25. Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth, then turn Bluetooth on if needed.
  3. Wait for the device to appear under Available devices. If nothing appears, tap Scan (if shown) and keep the accessory in pairing mode.
  4. Tap the accessory name to pair. Confirm any pairing request or PIN prompt on screen.
  5. Verify the connection. The device should move to Paired devices/Connected devices. Test audio, calls, or input controls right away.

Quick pairing from Quick Settings

You can also swipe down twice from the top of the screen, press and hold the Bluetooth icon, and pair from that screen directly.

If the device will not pair

  • Turn Bluetooth off and on, then retry.
  • Restart both the Galaxy S25 and the accessory.
  • Tap the gear icon next to an old entry and choose Unpair, then pair again.
  • Reset network settings on the phone as a last software step: Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings.

If none of the above works, test the accessory with another phone to confirm whether the issue is with the accessory hardware or the Galaxy S25.

One Comment

  1. Have you encountered an issue getting the S25 to display the Bluetooth audio LE toggle switch? I am unable to enable it in Developer mode.
