Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth speaker from Bose allows you to connect to another Bluetooth device. Bluetooth enabled devices such as laptop and mobile devices. Connecting Bose Soundlink Revolve speaker to a Bluetooth device is an easy process, there are certain issues that can occur wherein Bluetooth speaker suddenly disconnects from the paired device. Though this can be a frustrating experience especially when you’re listening to your favorite song. What to do if Bose Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth speaker disconnects from paired device
There are several factors that can cause this particular problem to occur on Bose Speaker such as the distance between speaker and Bluetooth device, memory list of paired devices are already full to a bug in the software. Listed below are the troubleshooting methods that you can try to fix this problem.

Method 1: Move speaker and device closer
In order for Bluetooth connection to be established, a Bluetooth range of 33 feet or 10 meters should be observed. However, there are obstacles such as walls, doors, other nearby devices that was previously paired to can reduce the range of Bluetooth and must also be taken into consideration.
If Bose product and Bluetooth device is beyond the required Bluetooth range, it may be the caused of speaker suddenly disconnects from the paired device. To fix this, make sure speaker and device are in close proximity with each other. If at some point, another nearby Bluetooth device is within range you may need to turn OFF Bluetooth to prevent reconnecting to the device and disconnecting the speaker.
Method 2: Reset Bluetooth speaker
To correct minor issues such as the problem mentioned, you may need to reboot Bose speaker. Since this method brings back the speaker to its default state, you need to set up again the settings.
- Press Power button to turn ON
- Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds.
Wait for the blinking blue light to appear. After that a voice prompt will ask you to select a language
After resetting Bluetooth speaker, connect speaker to Bluetooth device again and then check issue still occurs.
Method 3: Reboot Bluetooth device
Just like with any electronic devices it needs a reset from time to time. This refreshes the device system and removes corrupt data or issues that may have caused this problem to occur. To do this, you simply need to turn device ON and then turn it back ON again after a few seconds.
Once Bluetooth device reboots, connect to speaker again and then check issue still occurs.
Method 4: Delete Memory device list of previously paired devices
Normally, Bose speaker can remember devices that it was previously paired to for up to 8 devices. If there has been more than 8 devices already on the device list, it may have caused issues to occur hence speaker disconnecting from paired device. If at some point one of the Bluetooth device that the speaker was previously paired to is nearby or within are, there are times when it automatically reconnects to the device as a result disconnecting the previous pairing.
To fix this, go to Bluetooth settings on the device then simply click Unpair or delete option. Once cleared, this creates a new memory for the Bluetooth device. Try pairing Bluetooth device and speaker again and then check if the issue still occurs.
Method 5: Check Power Management settings for Bluetooth Adapter
This method only applies to Bose speaker that is connected to a Windows computer with Bluetooth adapter.
- Right Click Start or menu located at the lower left
- Click Device Manager
- At Device Manager window, click Bluetooth to expand it.
- Right click Bluetooth Adapter and click Properties from the drop down menu.
- At Properties window, click Power Management tab.
- Uncheck the option “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
- Restart computer
Once computer completely reboots, connect to speaker again and then check issue still occurs.
Method 6: Connect to another Bluetooth device
Try to connect Bose speaker to another Bluetooth device. In this method, you will know if the problem is related to the first Bluetooth device or not.
Method 7: Check for and Install available updates
Checking for and installing available updates fixes bugs that may have caused the issue to occur.
To do this, there are two options to choose from:
- via Bose connect app. An app available to download for free from App Store or Play Store.
- via Bose Online Updater found on Bose website. You simply need to connect Bose speaker to the computer and then follow the on-screen instructions on how to check and install updates.
