How to Connect Epic Games to Steam
Linking your Epic Games and Steam accounts lets you play with friends across platforms and access cross-play features. Here’s how to connect them.
Method 1: Link Through Epic Games Website
- Open a browser and go to epicgames.com.
- Sign in to your Epic Games account.
- Click your display name in the top right and select Account.
- Go to Connections > Accounts.
- Find Steam and click Connect.
- Sign in to your Steam account when prompted and authorize the connection.
Method 2: Link Through a Game
- Launch a cross-platform game (like Fortnite or Rocket League) on Steam.
- When prompted, sign in with your Epic Games account.
- The game will automatically link your Steam and Epic accounts.
- If not prompted, check the game’s settings for an account linking option.
Method 3: Link Through Epic Games Launcher
- Open the Epic Games Launcher.
- Click your profile icon and select Settings.
- Scroll to Connected Accounts.
- Click Connect next to Steam.
