How to Connect Epic Games to Steam

Linking your Epic Games and Steam accounts lets you play with friends across platforms and access cross-play features. Here’s how to connect them.

Method 1: Link Through Epic Games Website

  1. Open a browser and go to epicgames.com.
  2. Sign in to your Epic Games account.
  3. Click your display name in the top right and select Account.
  4. Go to Connections > Accounts.
  5. Find Steam and click Connect.
  6. Sign in to your Steam account when prompted and authorize the connection.

Method 2: Link Through a Game

  1. Launch a cross-platform game (like Fortnite or Rocket League) on Steam.
  2. When prompted, sign in with your Epic Games account.
  3. The game will automatically link your Steam and Epic accounts.
  4. If not prompted, check the game’s settings for an account linking option.

Method 3: Link Through Epic Games Launcher

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
  2. Click your profile icon and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to Connected Accounts.
  4. Click Connect next to Steam.
