How to change units of measurement on a Fitbit device

All Fitbit devices support both Imperial and Metric units of measurements. If you want to change the current units for height, weight, water consumption, or swims, follow the steps below. You can change the units of measurement either via the Fitbit app or the fitbit.com dashboard.

Method 1: Change units of measurement using Fitbit app

  1. Open Fitbit app.
  2. Tap the Today tab.
  3. Tap your profile picture.
  4. Tap Advanced Settings.
  5. Tap Units.
  6. Make your changes.

Method 2: Change Fitbit units of measurement using Fitbit.com dashboard

  1. Open a web browser and go to fitbit.com/login.
  2. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Personal Info.
  5. Under Advanced Settings, find Units and choose the type of units you want to use for your height, weight, water consumption, and swims.
  6. Click Submit.
