5 Best Sprint Phones In 2020

This year has brought a bevy of great smartphones to the market, but which are the best sprint phones that you can buy? There are so many flagship choices to choose from this year, it can be difficult to pick just one. Not only that, but folks looking to switch carriers over to Sprint to get a cheaper monthly bill are going to be faced with the decision of picking just one new phone as well.

With that in mind, we’ve narrowed down the best smartphones on Sprint’s network to just five, hopefully making the buying decision just a little bit easier. Follow along below and we’ll get started!

Best Sprint Phones

1) Samsung Galaxy S8

Last up on our list is the Samsung Galaxy S8. For those that don’t want the massive 6.3-inch screen of the Galaxy Note 8, the Galaxy S8 will be much more comfortable. It has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ 2960 x 1440 display. It might seem big, but because of the lack of bezels, it’s almost like holding a 5.2-inch device, but a bit taller.

It’s equipped with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a rear 12-megapixel camera and a large 3,000mAh battery. One of its unique features is that it has an Iris scanner, giving you the ability to unlock your phone with your eyes, although its slightly slower than using a fingerprint.

it’s a fast phone and will last you for years to come. It is quite expensive at the current price (sometimes less if you can find a best sprint phones deal), but like everything else on this list, it is available on a payment plan.

2) Apple iPhone 8

The most recent smartphone launched (and easily the most talked about) is Apple’s all-new iPhone 8. It largely looks the same as last year’s iPhone 7 but has some notable improvements that everyone should take a gander at. First, it’s powered by Apple’s new A11 Bionic processor, making the software noticeably faster. Whether you’re taking photos, switching between apps or loading up media-heavy websites, the A11 Bionic handles all this in a snap–there’s little to no lag or delay.

In addition, the iPhone 8 is equipped with a larger battery. And with iOS 11 now on-board, the battery is a whole lot more efficient as well. I’ve personally streamed music off this phone for five hours straight and still had a 74% battery life when I was done.

The iPhone 8 will cost you around a decent amount (or a little more) unlocked, or you can head over to Sprint’s website and grab one on a monthly payment plan.

3) Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Another great choice this year is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The Korean tech giant had a bit of a problem last year with the Galaxy Note 7 exploding, requiring them to recall all phones shipped worldwide. But now, they’re back with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and it’s better than ever before.

This phone is in such high demand, Samsung is having trouble keeping it in stock. Power users will love this phone due to its 6.3-inch curved Super AMOLED display. Plenty of high resolution real estate makes it perfect for watching movies, media and even reading. You also get a dual 12-megapixel camera to capture those perfect moments. It comes with an upgraded 8-megapixel camera for taking clear selfies.

It comes with 64GB of space and a removable microSD card–something we haven’t seen from Samsung in a long time. You get 6GB of RAM and a speedy Snapdragon 835 processor to fly through all of your tasks.

You can’t go wrong with this phone, even with the steep price. Just like the iPhone 8, it’s available on payment plans as well.

4) Google Pixel 2

Google just the other day announced the successor to the original Pixel–the Pixel 2. You still get the great hardware–a 5-inch Full HD display, 64GB of internal storage, E-SIM, 4GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 835 processor, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a hefty 2,700mAh battery. The biggest changes are actually in design.

Google received a lot of criticism for the Pixel’s design, with many calling it “plain” and “weird.” Now, it’s similar, but a whole lot more polished. The Pixel 2 isn’t available to buy just yet, but it is available for pre-order. And you should pre-order it as soon as possible–if you want one. Last time around, Google had issues keeping the Pixel in stock in late 2016 and well throughout 2017.

It is a little cheaper than the phones we’ve listed so far. Google is also offering payment plans.

5) LG G6

Another great choice is the LG G6. Last year’s LG G5 was a bit of a disaster with the weird module setup, but LG has pulled the plug on that and improved things exponentially in the LG G6.

This time around it has a sleek, modern design, but it’s also comfortable and easy to grip in the hand. It has a sizable screen at 5.7-inches. It’s resolution is Quad HD (2880 x 1440), making movies, media, and text easy to watch and read. Colors are also more accurate with the LG G6, whereas they’re a bit more vibrant on Samsung devices with the Super AMOLED display.

As far as specs go, you get a 13-megapixel rear camera, a Snapdragon 821 processor, 32GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM and a non-removable 3,300mAh battery. The LG G6 will only cost you a fair amount Unlocked, but it’s also available on payment plans.

Verdict on the Best Sprint Phones

So, which phone should you buy? If you’re looking for a high quality smartphone that “just works” with a modern design, the iPhone 8 is the way to go. If you want something that gives you more options and customization, then an Android phone is the way to go. And, ultimately–as far as this list goes–it comes down to size preference.

If you want something with plenty of screen real estate, the obvious choice here is the Galaxy Note 8. If you want something with decent screen real estate but a whole lot cheaper, the LG G6 is right up your alley. But, if you want a device that is smaller and fits in the hand well, the Galaxy S8 is perfect because of its lack of bezels. You also have the option of the Google Pixel 2, which is smaller than any device on this list. However, this particular phone is more about liking the design, as it is quite unique compared to the rest on this list.

No matter what you choose though, you won’t regret your best sprint phones purchase. These are all high quality smartphones that’ll last you for years to come.
