Call Waiting is a feature in Samsung devices that makes a sound if you get a call when you’re already on the phone. You’ll usually get a beep during a call that should indicate a new call coming in. During this time, you can either answer the new call or keep it waiting as long as you activate Call Waiting on your Samsung ahead of time.
Answering the new incoming call will place the first call on hold so make sure to let the first caller know to avoid being rude. Turning on Call Waiting is one of the default features in Samsung Phone app for years. It’s a convenient feature to let you know if there’s an incoming call while you’re already underway in another call. To turn Call Waiting on, follow the steps below.
- Open the Phone app.
Find the Phone app in the Home screen or Apps Tray.
- Open More options.
Tap the 3 dots at the upper right.
- Select Settings.
Select the third option — Settings.
- Tap Supplementary services.
Find Supplementary services at the bottom part.
- Activate Call Waiting In Your Samsung.
Tap the switch for Call Waiting and move it to the right.
