S9 Screen Flickers In Low Brightness

Problem: My galaxy S9 screen flickers when its on low brightness. The screen flickers and does not show anything and it goes blank when on sleep mode. When I’m on a call and the screen turns off it doesn’t turn on . I’ve factory reset the phone . It’s still the same. I took it to a phone operator and they said the screen is bad that I have to change the screen . But I don’t think it’s the screen because I’m send this message from the phone.

Solution: If you have already performed a factory reset and the issue still persists then it’s very likely that this is already caused by a faulty display. This is usually one of the common issues affecting phones with AMOLED displays. One temporary solution is to set the brightness to the highest level. However, if you want to have this fixed then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S9 Screen Flickers White

Problem: So with my samsung s9 and I’ve had it for nearly 2 months and even when i dropped the corners it still worked. Ever since i got one of those glitter phone cases a week ago my phone has been acting up, the screen flickers a white and the words look like they are vibrating and restarting it doesn’t help. If i turn off my phone the right half of my phone flickers white

Related Problem: Purple and blue color started at bottom left corner of screen on 5/16/18 and is slowly creeping upwards everyday. I did not drop not spill anything on my phone it is also protected by an otterbox.

Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case is to check if an app you installed is causing the problem. To do this you have to start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone works in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by a downloaded app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

If the screen still flickers even in Safe Mode then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

S9 Screen Is Black But Phone Is Working

Problem: i have a Samsung S9 , Black Screen Issue, i can receive message , and it charge, but dead screen or black screen, if i touch the screen vibrating only. if i call my phone they ring, if i try to click a flashlight, in random, it will work, at the screen is black,, What should i Do? please help me

Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to start the phone in recovery mode. If the screen works in this mode then the problem could be caused by a software glitch. You will then need to do a factory reset in this mode. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

If the screen still remains black even in recovery mode then there’s a chance that the display is damaged. You will need to have this checked at a service center.
