S9 Plus Randomly Restarting When Screen Is Off
Problem: My S9 Plus is restarting by itself when the screen is off. I took it for the Samsung technician and they had formatted my phone on the last Friday, June 22nd, here in Sao Paulo Brazil. Today if I put on the AOD my device don’t shutdown or restart. When I turn off the AOD the problem occurs again. I did all the steps that you posted but nothing had fix the problem.
Solution: It looks like this is already caused by a faulty hardware component. You can however check if this is caused by a software glitch by doing a factory reset in recovery mode. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset as this will be erased during the process.
In case the issue still persists after the reset then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9 Plus Black Screen With Solid Blue LED Light
Problem: Hello, so my Samsung S9+ is almost 2 months old. It fell sometime last week and has a line across which isn’t visible. The phone responded eventually. Recently, some parts of my touch screen is not responsive and I started to get the black screen unresponsive more frequently. Currently, my phone is showing the blue led light which is not blinking but constantly on. The screen is also black screen. What could be the issue or how can I resolve?
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to first make sure that the phone battery has sufficient charge. Charge the phone using its wall charger for at least 20 minutes. In case the phone does not charge then do the following steps:
- Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air.
- Use a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone.
- Try charging the phone from a computer USB port.
Once the phone has sufficient charge start it in recovery mode then do a factory reset. Take note that this will erase your phone data.
If the issue persists then the display of the phone is most likely damaged. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9+ Keeps On Restarting When Connected To Charger
Problem: My galaxy S9+ was working great. Haven’t damaged it in any way. Yesterday when I plugged it in to charge it it kept turning off and on by itself continuously while plugged in. I have tried multiple chargers and same thing happens. I can turn it off and charge it but not while it’s on. I have tried closing all apps and also cleared cache partition with no luck. Any other suggestions?
Solution: It looks like the problem is caused by a shorted circuit which occurs whenever you charge the phone. To troubleshoot this problem try cleaning the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then charge the phone using a different charging cord and wall charger.
If the issue still persists then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S9+ Battery Drains Fast When Connecting to Internet
Problem: I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ it charges fully no problems and can text and make calls and the battery is fine but when I watch media or use the Internet it runs down really fast I’ve tried apps like task killer but still does it I’ve tried other apps to test battery and they all say my battery is good I’ve tried factory reset on the phone and even tried a hard reset but still does the same please help it’s driving me crazy and I really need to use the Internet on my phone do you think it’s the phone or need a new battery thanks
Solution: Using the internet especially on a mobile data connection will significantly decrease your phone battery life. You will however be able to squeeze in a couple of hours of online time using a mobile data connection on a fully charged battery. If you are getting less than an hour of online time then this is a problem. Since the issue occurs even after a factory reset then it’s likely that this is already caused by a faulty battery. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.
