Galaxy A3 Black Screen But Phone Still Working
Problem: I have a demonstrator A3 that I had to buy in Russia last March as my S5 was stolen. It has been working fine with many different carriers in Europe and Australia since. The other day I went to refer to a photo I had taken some 15 minutes earlier and found my screen was black. BSoD? Everything else on the phone works provided you can hit the right spot on the screen. I tried a soft reset but that achieved nothing. I turned on my wiFi and bluetooth and they connected ok to run down my battery to effectively turn off phone. I followed your page on the on this issue without success but my issue is slightly different. The screen is 100% responsive but naturally navigation is a bit hit and miss. No error warning lights, takes calls but no display. The back and open apps lights on the switches work and it seems to respond to them. If you can offer me any advice I would appreciate it. I live in a country area and there is not a great availability of good help.
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to start the phone in recovery mode. If the screen works in this mode then the problem could be caused by software glitch in which case you will need to perform a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the screen is still black even in recovery mode then there’s a possibility that this is caused by a faulty display assembly. The best thing to do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
Galaxy A3 Stays In Black Screen with Blue LED Light
Problem: As I was using my phone sometimes apps will freeze from time to time and crash which I did not mind. I bought the phone and receive from Samsung official page 7/27/2018 and then snapchat crash and when I tried opening it again it let crashing so I decided to restart the phone and when as it was booting up the phone just stays in a black screen with a blue led light slowly flashing which then I tried everything from here the soft reset and all that the next day the led light it’s gone I tried charging it and turn it on but it won’t or even restart. Brand new phone won’t work. Thank you for your time.
Solution: The first thing that you should do in this case is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge. Let the phone charge for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. In case the phone does not charge then clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then use a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the device.
Once the phone has sufficient charge try doing a soft reset. This is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If the screen still remains black then try starting the phone in recovery mode. In case the screen works in this mode then the problem could be caused by a software glitch. You will then need to do a factory reset in this mode. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this might already be caused by a faulty hardware component in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
Galaxy A3 Is Not Fast Charging
Problem: Hello, My Samsung galaxy A3 owned it for a year won’t fast charge. It takes almost 12 hour of charging to get it to 70%. Not original cable and this is the second battery. I had the battery replaced it didn’t do anything and a new cable fast charging. I also ordered a new wall adapter but its not oem part and its not shipped yet. I reboot system , flush the cache, factory reset , nothing worked, I haven’t changed the charging port. What can I do to make this cell go 100 % under 1 hour just like before.
Solution: If it takes too long for the battery of your phone to charge and you have already performed a factory reset as well as replaced the battery with a new one then there’s a possibility that the charging port or the power IC of the phone is faulty. The best thing you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
