LG G6 Screen Stopped Working

Problem: My LG G6 screen stopped working! I gets notifications but can’t access it, the other buttons work perfectly except the screen, I have reboot with power key and volume keys yet it doesn’t respond please help! Nothing happened to it ,I hate doesn’t fell inside water or anything but it was off for two days and after charging on the third day the screen became unresponsive. Please help

Related Problem: My screen already stop responding.. It’s show blank screen (black screen).. Power button it’s working after i feel the vibration after I press the power button.. I try to use force shutdown (vol down+power button) but lcd just give lightning respond only but dont show LG logo.. Thank for helping me and sorry for language if has wrong grammar..

Solution: The best thing that you can do in this particular case is to start the phone in recovery mode. If the screen works in this mode then there’s a chance that the problem is caused by a software glitch. You will then need to do a factory reset in this mode. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

In case the issue persists even in recovery mode then it’s very likely that the display of the phone is faulty. You will have to bring the phone to a service center and have this phone repaired if this is the case.

LG G6 Apps Open Randomly

Problem: Hi there, I have had my LG G6 for a year now. Last week it started having problems. I would be using it and all of the sudden it starts pressing itself, going on different apps and flickering different apps at the same time which makes it impossible for me to us it efficiently. I tried wiping the phone and it was fine for about 20 minutes or so then went back to doing the same thing

Related Problem: Randomly putting number of letters in for example “hheeeeeellloo” rather than hello. Also when scrolling it selects rather than scrolls. Making using and messaging difficult

Solution: For this particular problem you should try starting the phone in Safe Mode then check if the issue occurs in this mode. If it doesn’t then there’s a possibility that an app you downloaded is causing this problem. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.

In case the issue still occurs even in Safe Mode then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. After the reset has completed do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs. In case it does then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component already. The best thing you can do in this case is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

LG G6 Screen Keeps Flickering After Drop

Problem: Hi, my LG G6 edge fell down, the screen did not crack but I noticed on the inside near the edge an ink like black spot inside the screen. Now the phone keeps flickering with different colors but when I try open any app it goes green. Please what do I do because I can’t afford another screen , it’s too expensive where I live. Thanks.

Solution: There’s a big possibility that the drop has damaged the display of the phone and is now causing this flickering problem. You can however check if the problem is caused by a software glitch by doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. If the problem still persists after the reset then you should bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
