How to save a ringtone on Galaxy S10
In order to save a ringtone on Galaxy S10, you must first open the message thread that contains it then save it. Here’s how that’s done:
- From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Open Messages app. If prompted to change the default SMS app, tap YES to confirm.
- From the Inbox, tap the message containing the ringtone.
- Touch and hold the attachment box.
- Tap Save attachment. By default, the sound file is saved to: My Files > Downloads. To view the sound file as a ringtone option, you need to move it to Internal storage > Ringtones. To do that, you can use My Files (Apps > Samsung > My Files) to move files.
