Samsung skips Tab S5, plans to launch Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S4 succeeded the Galaxy Tab S3, and so it would be natural that a Galaxy Tab S5 would succeed the Galaxy Tab S4. However, it doesn’t sound like that is the case at all now, as Samsung looks to skip over the Galaxy Tab S5, and go straight to the Galaxy Tab S6.

You’d think a Galaxy Tab S5 would be up next, especially since Samsung has just launched the confusing Galaxy Tab S5e.

Still, that isn’t the case, a Galaxy Tab S6 will be up next, and rumors indicate that Samsung is going to be focusing on productivity for it. It’s going to truly be a flagship tablet as well, with Samsung packing a Snapdragon 855 CPU inside, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 10.5-inch display.

The report from SamMobile says that the Galaxy Tab S6 is going to support a crazy camera setup, too. It’s actually going to have dual rear cameras, which is odd because cameras aren’t usually what people buy tablets for.
