Ho to troubleshoot Galaxy A10 that disconnects from WiFi network randomly
When you’re troubleshooting a device that keeps on disconnecting from the network, you have to be very thorough so that you won’t end up losing some of your important files and data. Here’s what you need to do…
First solution: Do the forced restart
As I said earlier, this could be just a minor problem with the firmware and the first thing that you have to do is to perform the forced restart. It’s a simulated battery removal that will refresh your phone’s memory as well as load all apps and services. If this is just a minor issue with the firmware or a glitch, this could fix the problem. Here’s how it’s done:
- Press and hold the Volume Down button and don’t release it yet.
- While holding down the volume button, press and hold the Power key as well.
- Keep both keys held down together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy A10 logo shows on the screen.
Once the phone has rebooted successfully, try to see if it still disconnects from WiFi. so, basically, continue using the phone like you always do to know this. If the problem persists, then move on to the next solution.

Second solution: Reset network settings
There are times when some services used by the phone’s radios crash or the existing connection got corrupted. When any of these happens, you can always expect to experience network-related problems including constant disconnection from the network. Sometimes deleting the connection may fix the problem but the best way to address it is to reset the network settings. This will delete all connections as well as refresh the services that may have crashed. It’s been proven to fix network-related problems and here’s how it’s done:
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
- Tap the Settings icon on the upper-right corner.
- Scroll to and tap General management.
- Touch Reset.
- Tap Reset network settings.
- Tap Reset settings.
- If prompted, enter your PIN, Password or Pattern.
- Finally, tap Reset.
Once the phone has finished the reboot, enable WiFi and then allow it to reconnect to the network. Try to see if the device still disconnects from WiFi network after this because if it does, then move on to the next solution.

Third solution: Restart your network devices
Aside from issues with your phone, it’s also possible that the cause of this problem is your network devices. It could be that your modem or router is defective or you just need to refresh its memory. A simple reboot may fix this problem, so here’s what you have to do:
- Unplug your modem or router from the wall outlet, or simply disconnect the power cord from the device.
- Leave the device without power for a minute or two.
- After which, plug it back into the wall outlet or reconnect to power cord.
- Wait for your router to broadcast the signal and allow your phone to reconnect to it.
After doing this and your phone still disconnects from WiFi, then move on to the next procedure.
Fourth solution: Delete the system cache
When the system cache gets corrupted or already obsolete, performance issues may occur and this also may result to network issues. Try deleting the old cache so that a new one will be created. You can do so by wiping off the contents of the cache partition. Don’t worry, none of your files and data will be deleted if you did this:
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys.
- When the Galaxy A10 logo shows, release all three keys.
- Your Galaxy A10 will continue to boot up into the Recovery Mode. Once you see a black screen with blue and yellow texts, proceed to the next step.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.
When the phone has finished the reboot, try to see if your phone still disconnects from WiFi or if it is fixed. If the problem persists, then move on to the next solution.

After which, remove your google account so that you won’t be locked out and once everything is in order, follow these steps to reset your phone:
