First solution: Force restart your Galaxy S10 Plus

The forced restart is a simulated battery removal and it refreshes your phone memory as well as reload all its applications and services. This could be the only procedure you have to do and here’s how it’s done:

1. Press and hold the Volume Down button and don’t release it yet.
2. While holding down the volume button, press and hold the Power key as well.
3. Keep both keys held down together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy S10 Plus logo shows on the screen.

Once the phone has rebooted, open the app and see if the Pandora keeps crashing issue remains. If it does, then move on to the next procedure.

Second solution: Clear Pandora’s cache

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the upper-right corner.
3. Scroll to and then tap Apps.
4. Find and tap Pandora.
5. Tap Storage.
6. Touch Clear cache.

After clearing the cache, open the app and see if Pandora keeps crashing still. If it still does, then move on to the next solution.

Third solution: Clear Pandora’s data files

Doing this will reset the app but if it’s just a minor issue with Pandora, it should fix the problem. This will delete the data of hte app in your phone but don’t worry, as long as you saved those data in your account, you should be able to retrieve them after doing this. Here’s how it’s done:

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down.
2. Tap the Settings icon on the upper-right corner.
3. Scroll to and then tap Apps.
4. Find and tap Pandora.
5. Tap Storage.
6. Touch Clear data and then tap OK to confirm.

After resetting the app, open it and see if Pandora keeps crashing still. If it still does, then move on to the next solution as this could be due to a firmware issue.

Fourth solution: Delete the system cache

Aside from app caches, the system also creates cache of its own to make sure the phone runs smoothly. However, if it gets corrupted, performance issues may occur like app crashes. It’s a possibility you also have to rule out and to do so, you have to wipe the cache partition to delete the system cache and replace it with a new one. Here’s how it’s done:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
3. When the Galaxy S10+ logo shows, release all three keys.
4. Your Galaxy S10 Plus will continue to boot up into the Recovery Mode. Once you see a black screen with blue and yellow texts, proceed to the next step.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Once the phone has rebooted, open the app and try to stream your favorite radio station. If Pandora keeps crashing continuously after this, then move on to the next solution.

Fifth solution: Backup your files and reset your phone

A reset will surely fix any app issues but the reason why this solution comes at the end of our troubleshooting guide is because we want to exhaust all possible solution before the reset as you may end up losing some of your important files and data. Therefore, before doing this procedure, make sure to create a copy of your important files and data as they will be deleted. After the backup, make sure to remove your Google and Samsung accounts so that you won’t be locked out of your device after the reset. After that, follow these steps to reset your phone:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
3. When the Galaxy S10+ logo shows, release all three keys.
4. Your Galaxy S10 Plus will continue to boot up into the Recovery Mode. Once you see a black screen with blue and yellow texts, proceed to the next step.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight ‘wipe data / factory reset’.
6. Press Power button to select.
7. Press the Volume down key until ‘Yes’ is highlighted.
8. Press Power button to select and start the master reset.
9. When the master reset is complete, ‘Reboot system now’ is highlighted.
10. Press the Power key to restart the device.
