A new live image of the Nokia 5.3 has appeared which is accompanied by information on its hardware as well, giving us a very good idea of what to expect from the smartphone when it breaks cover next week. Previous leaks have mentioned that the Nokia 5.3 will be launched by the 19th of March.
In terms of the color scheme, the Nokia 5.3 seemingly has a color scheme similar to the Nokia 7.2, particularly with the inclusion of the Cyan Green color. The Nokia 5.3 will also be available in colors like Sand as well as Charcoal, the leak adds.
The phone is said to be packing a 6.65-inch HD+ display accompanied by the octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC. The leak also tells us that the smartphone has four rear cameras and that it will consist of a 16MP sensor, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and two 2MP sensors which will help with portrait and macro photos respectively. Additionally, the leak also mentions that the phone will have a 4,000 mAh battery underneath.
A separate leak over the weekend suggested that the phone will be known as the Nokia 5.2 and not the Nokia 5.3, which surprised a few people. While Nokia has been relatively absent for the past few months, the company expects to make a comeback soon. The company’s last flagship was the Nokia 7.2 which broke cover in September 2019, while a majority of the company’s smartphone lineup is made up of mid-range offerings.
