The Apple AirPods are an excellent pair of headphones. Apple has designed these to work well with the iPhone, but you shouldn’t have trouble using these on any device capable of Bluetooth. You can pair them up with an Android or Windows Phone as you would normally with a Bluetooth device — then, you can use them like you normally would with any pair of wireless headphones. These sound great on Android, and you’re able to use them for hands-free calling as well.

However, where the Apple AirPods shine is in use with Apple devices. Connect the Apple AirPods up to your iPhone, and then they can be used with any Apple device connected to your iCloud account without any additional pairing. On a Mac, you might have to select them from the list of available Bluetooth devices, but that’s it.

The touch functionality of the Apple AirPods is nice. Double-tap on the left AirPods, and you’ll immediately activate Siri. From there, you can ask her any question or give her any command — such as “Hey Siri, how’s the weather?” or “Hey Siri, call Dad.” If someone is calling you, you can even double-tap the left earbud to answer the call. As you can see, both the Jabra Elite 65t’s and the Apple AirPods are excellent truly wireless earbuds; however, we think the Jabra Elite 65t’s are the big winner here. Not only will they work well with any smartphone, but they use a universal digital assistant like Alexa that can be used on almost any platform. You’re not restricted to, say, Siri on iOS like the AirPods are. Not only that, but these provide some excellent sound quality and battery life.

But, if you do have an Apple device, you might want to give the Apple AirPods a shot. They do have some neat features inside of them, with the inter-connectivity between Apple devices probably being the best aspect.
