Next up, we have Popcornflix. This one is completely free to use — all you have to do is create an account and you’re free to start watching content on Popcornflix. You can use Popcornflix on a wide variety of different platforms, whether it be on Android, iOS, on your TV device of choice, or just by navigating to the website on a computer or laptop.

Hulu ended that when they decided to switch over to a subscription-only model; however, Yahoo View attempted to pick up the slack when Hulu ended that. Yahoo View is a service that is the result of a partnership between Yahoo and Hulu. Anyone that lives in the United States is able to take advantage of Yahoo View — they’ll be able to log in and watch the first five episodes of any TV show from ABC, NBC and FOX up to 8 days after the original air date.

Tubi TV comes in as next up as a way to watch TV shows online for free. This is an excellent way to watch TV shows for free, and legally, too. Tubi TV actually operates with licensing from content providers, so all of the shows and movies that you can watch online for free are completely legal, and not pirated. Tubi TV is so free that you don’t even have to make an account to start watching TV — you can simply navigate to the website or download the app to start watching your favorite shows and movies almost immediately.

Yidio comes in as one of the last ways that you can watch TV shows for free. You cannot actually watch TV shows with Yidio, as it’s more of a media source aggregator than anything. It actually has a database of thousands of movies and TV shows that you can search for that are available on popular streaming services. Yidio has a bunch of filtering options, with one of them allowing you to Filter by “free” titles. Suffice to say, Yidio’s goal is to essentially point you in the right direction to find a show for free.
