Method 1: How to screenshot on Galaxy Note10+ using hardware buttons

This has been the easiest method to capture the screen of Samsung devices for years now. If you’re new to Android or Samsung devices, below are the steps to screenshot on your Galaxy Note10+:

1. Open the application/screen which you want to take a screenshot of.
2. Now press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons together for about 2 seconds.
3. If successful, you will see a quick animation and hear a feedback sound that will show that a screenshot was just taken.

Method 2: Take a screenshot on Galaxy Note10+ using Palm swipe to capture

Palm swipe to capture requires setting up first. Once you’ve completed the setup, all you have to do is is to run your palm over the screen. Here’s what you need to do exactly:

1. You need to activate the gesture itself before you can actually use it. In order to do so, go into the Settings app and select the Advanced features.
2. From advanced features section, tap Motions and gestures.
3. Tap Palm Swipe to capture.
4. Toggle the switch for Palm Swipe to capture.
5. Close the settings app and prepare the screen or app you want to capture.
6. Swipe the edge of your hand horizontally from right to left or left to right, and from edge to edge. Your hand must remain in contact with the screen to successfully do a screenshot.

Method 3: Take a screenshot on Galaxy Note10+ using Scroll capture

If you’re trying to capture screenshots of long articles or pictures, you can do so by using Scroll capture. Like Palm Swipe to capture, this option needs setting up first. Once you’ve done that, you can then go ahead and capture screenshots. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Activate Scroll capture first. Open Settings app, go to Advanced settings, and enable Smart capture. This should give you the option to tap Scroll capture from the options that appear once you’ve taken the screenshot.
2. Close the settings app and prepare the screen or app you want to capture.
3. Begin capturing the screen by tapping on “Scroll capture” from the options that appear.
4. Keep tapping the Scroll capture button until you finished capturing the content.

How to view your screenshots

If you’re wondering how to view your newly captured screenshots, don’t worry. Viewing those images is as easy as taking them. All you need to do after capturing a screenshot using any of the methods above is by tapping on the preview that appears. In the same set of options at the bottom, you should be able to edit the image.

Alternatively, you can open the Gallery app and open the Screenshots folder to view your screenshots.
