How to remap Samsung’s Bixby button

  1. Launch Settings and then tap Advanced Features.
  2. Touch Bixby key and select Double press to open Bixby.
  3. Enable Use single press toggle switch.
  4. Tap inside Use single press area and touch Open app.
  5. Now tap on the Settings button and then choose the app you want.

After this, the app you’ve chosen will be opened when you press and Bixby button. However, if you previously disabled the button due to accidental presses, then you will come face to face with the same issue once the single press is enabled again.

How to disable Bixby on Samsung Galaxy S10

With the single press enabled, you can also choose to run a quick command instead of opening an app. When you choose this option, of course the option to open an app will not work. If you want to test this feature, then here’s how it’s done:

  6. Give title to Quick Command.
  7. Add command.
  8. Tap Save.
  9. On new screen, select quick command.
