S8+ Black Screen With Notifications Working
Problem: Hello, my Samsung Galaxy S8 plus has went completely black. The screen does not show anything but a black screen. The blue LED light still comes on and I can still hear the volume go up and down when I click the volume rocker. I had already tried to try and clear the cache by holding down the volume down and power button and nothing will come up.

Solution: The first thing that you should do in this particular case is to make sure that the phone battery has sufficient charge. Charge your phone first for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. In case the phone does not charge then you should clean the charging port of your phone using a can of compressed air then try charging it again this time using a different charging cord and wall charger.
Once the phone has sufficient charge try doing a soft reset. This is done by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. If the issue remains then proceed with the troubleshooting steps listed below.
- Start the phone in Safe Mode. Does the issue occur in this mode? If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is adn uninstall it.
- Start the phone in recovery mode. Does the screen work in this mode? If it does then I suggest that you do a factory reset from here. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.
In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will have to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked as this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component already.
S8+ Screen Goes Black
Problem: Been just a day since i started using this phone. 1. Screen goes black while im on calls and to get back the display i need to press power button .Doesn’t recognise the movement and shows display. 2. While playing audio in whatsapp screen goes black with mild sound of that audio playing behind and no function can be performed until it finishes the full audio. Please help
Solution: The first thing that you need to do in this case is to check if the problem is caused by an app that you installed. To do this you will need to start the phone in Safe Mode as only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run in this mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
In case the problem still occurs even in Safe Mode then I suggest that you do a factory reset. This will allow you to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch. Since the reset will erase your phone data then I suggest that you make a backup copy first before doing the reset.
S8+ Purple Spots On Display After Drop
Problem: I dropped my phone a while back and a few hours later a tiny purple spot appeared on the bottom left side of the screen A few days later the whole screen was covered in purple spots that won’t allow me to use my phone in broad daylight but only in the dark All functions work as good as ever it’s just this issue with the dark spots covering most of the screen making it hard for me to see
Solution: Unfortunately this appears to be a hardware related problem already possibly caused by a damaged display due to the drop. You can verify this further by starting the phone in recovery mode. In case the issue does not occur when the phone is running in this mode then the problem could be caused by a software glitch. You will need to do a factory reset in this mode. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data. If the screen still has purple spots even in recovery mode then you will need to have the phone repaired at a service center.
S8+ Screen Is Unresponsive
Problem: Kindly respond me because i am worry about my problem. When i restart my device so touch gone unresponsive, but when i turn off my phone by a trick by connect the charger and forcely restart by holding Power+Volume Down key (because touch is not working at that time), so by this i turn off my cell phone, and then on after 1 hour so it works normal again. So problem is this when i restart my device so touch gone unresponsive while everything working perfect like camera home button, volume buttons, incoming call, Tell me what you think problem is in firmware or in hardware?
Solution: The best thing that you can do right now is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. In case the issue still occurs after the reset then this is most likely a hardware related problem in which case you will need to have the phone repaired at a service center.
