How to Fix Minecraft Not Launching on PC
Minecraft refusing to launch on PC can be caused by Java issues, corrupted files, or outdated drivers. These methods cover both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
Method 1: Update Java
- Open a browser and go to java.com.
- Download and install the latest version of Java.
- If you have multiple Java versions, uninstall old ones first.
- Restart your PC and try launching Minecraft Java Edition.
Method 2: Update Graphics Drivers
- Open Device Manager > Display adapters.
- Right-click your GPU and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically.
- Or download the latest drivers from NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel.
- Restart and try launching Minecraft.
Method 3: Delete the .minecraft Folder
- Press Win + R and type %appdata%.
