How to Fix Galaxy S26 Ultra Gmail Notifications Not Working
Some Galaxy S26 Ultra owners are not receiving notifications from certain apps despite having all settings enabled. These fixes target Samsung’s aggressive battery management that often blocks background notifications.
Fix #1: Check App Notification Settings
After an update, notification permissions on the Galaxy S26 Ultra can get reset. Make sure they are enabled for the affected app.
- Go to Settings > Apps and select the app.
- Tap Notifications.
- Make sure Allow Notifications is turned on.

Fix #2: Disable Battery Optimization for the App
