How to Fix Galaxy S25 Ultra Android Auto Not Connecting

Some Galaxy S25 Ultra owners are having trouble connecting to or maintaining an Android Auto connection with their car. These fixes address the most common Android Auto connectivity problems.

Fix #1: Restart Both Devices

Force restart the Galaxy S25 Ultra and restart the car’s infotainment system by turning the car off and on.

Fix #2: Clear Android Auto Cache

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Android Auto.
  2. Tap Storage > Clear Cache.

Fix #3: Try a Different USB Cable

Android Auto is sensitive to cable quality. Use a short, high-quality USB-C cable (ideally USB 3.0 or better).

Fix #4: Re-Pair the Phone

  1. On the car’s infotainment system, remove the phone from paired devices.
  2. On the phone, go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and unpair the car.
  3. Re-pair from scratch.

Fix #5: Check for Updates

Update both the phone software and the Android Auto app from the Play Store.

Fix #6: Reset Network Settings

  1. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
