There are several factors that can cause the battery LED indicator of Bose speaker is always red or is indicating a low battery level such as charger not connected to a power outlet, and or power outlet is not functioning to a bug in the software of the speaker.

Method 1: Check if charger is connected to power outlet

The problem is usually experienced by users when charging the speaker. When charging the speaker to a power outlet, you have to check if indeed the charger is plugged in or connected to the power outlet. If at some point the charges is loosely connected to the power, it will not charge the speaker that is why battery will not be charged. Therefore the LED status indicator of the speaker will always show a red light.

A confirmation tone should be heard when charger is correctly connected to power outlet. Make sure you hear a tone.

Method 2: Make sure Power Outlet is functioning

As mentioned above, when speaker charger is connected to power outlet Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth speaker plays a tone. However, if a tone is not heard you may need to get another working electronic device and plug it into the power outlet. If the electronic device is charging or is working, this means that the power outlet is functioning and not the cause why this problem occurs.

Method 3: Reseat USB cable

If after charging the product for some time and is already fully charged yet the Battery light LED indicator still shows a red light, you may need to unplug the USB cable from the USB port and then reconnect the charging cable to the USB port.

Method 4: Reset speaker

To do this:

  1. Press and hold Power Button for about 10 seconds
