Minecraft needs windows store to download the Minecraft launcher was my meaning in last paragraph
Ohh they almost did their customers a solid. Shame EU So hyperfocused on apple being anti trust they don’t see the same pattern exists in all hardware centric platforms. Buy an Xbox then you only buy from Xbox store.
I mean that’s great we can link our Xbox account which most likely is our Microsoft Windows login anyways for integration to play or have our Xbox profile associated with our Gog games
Nobody’s going scream about the elephant in room here?,
“I have a freaking Xbox, why am I playing games on my PC?!”
or why is that what I’m being forced into? I can’t believe that GOG is the one that’s saying that they don’t want more exposure to other markets by having their client installed on Xboxes and Playstation Androids and apples. it’s all of these different people requiring exclusive access to download apps and games Etc through their portal. When this is fixed, then I’ll be interested in the quote unquote Hardware Wars again. Because now it’s really about who has the most faithful port are which platform gets the most consistent updatest?
Fix this to fix the garbage that’s wrong with this industry. It’s already nauseating that if I want to play a game on my computer I have to have the flavor of the week client and of course store. Epic bllizzard Microsoft store, hell Microsoft need you to download it from the Windows store so that you can then be put into the Minecraft store so that you can then correctly play the game.
