How to fix your Moto E4 Plus that won’t turn on
Most of the time, when this type of problem occurs, it’s a sign of a system crash so that’s what we have to rule out first. The following method is very effective in fixing issues that has something to do with firmware crash or system glitch. We have received reports that some owners of Moto E4 Plus have encountered issues wherein the phone becomes really slow before it becomes unresponsive. There are cases wherein the screen turns black while there were also cases where the display got stuck on a screen and would no longer respond. - Press and hold the Power button for approximately 10 seconds or until the device power cycles.
This process can be used to simulate a “battery pull” when the device is unresponsive, frozen, or doesn’t power on. However, if your phone still won’t respond to this method, then try this…
- Plug the charger to a working AC or wall outlet.
- Connect your phone to it using the original cable.
- Allow the phone to charge for at least ten minutes regardless whether the charging symbol is showing or not.
- After which, press and hold the Power key again for 10 seconds or until the device turns on.
After doing all this and the phone is still unresponsive, then it’s time to bring it to the service center or back to the store so that the technician can take a look at it. Remember to tell the tech what happened before the problem started. If there’s any significant event that could have led to the problem, you should tell the tech about it.
