Fix Bose Music App Cannot Search Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Problem

Bose Music App is an application that allows you to control Bose products. With the use of the app you can access and browse favorite music and listen to podcasts. Solution 1: Restart Bose Music app

The very first step when troubleshooting any issues is to restart the application. Normally, RAM usage on the mobile phone can cause minor issues on the device. When applications running on the background are close and properly exit. Restarting the application clears out the RAM usage on the device for a fresh new start.

Restarting Bose Music app depends on the device you are using:

For Android device:

  1. Tap on Settings, an icon that looks like a gear
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps
  3. Scroll down and tap on Bose Music app
  4. Tap Force stop option. This will stop the application.

  4. Tap on the slider to switch Bluetooth option on under Allow Bose Music to access

Solution 3: Reset QuietComfort Earbuds

If after following the first two solutions mentioned above and still Bose Music cannot detect Bose product, you may need to reset Bose product. Resetting clear saved settings bringing it back to its factory state.

To reset:

  1. Connect charging case to power source
  2. Place Bose QuietComfort earbuds to charging case. Make sure charging pins are attached firmly on the charging case pins.
  3. Close charging case, then open charging case after 5 seconds
  4. While QuietComfort earbuds still on charging case, press and hold Bluetooth button for about 30 seconds then release the buttons. Reset process is complete when LED light from blinking will turn to solid white and then turns to Blue.

Once resetting of Bose QuietComfort earbuds is done, try connecting Bose Music app to Bose QuietComfort earbuds again and then check if the issue still occurs.

Solution 4: Update Bose Music app

It is recommended to update Bose Music app to the latest version. An updated version fixes minor issues and bugs that may have cause not detecting issue to occur.

The steps in updating an application depends on the mobile phone you are using. Make sure to check for the instructions on how to check for and install available updates on your mobile phone

Solution 5: Uninstall and Reinstall Bose Music App
