When there’s an issue with your tablet and you don’t know what the cause is, you can always count on the reset to fix it. So in this post, I will guide you on how to factory reset Galaxy Tab S6 to bring it back to its default settings and configuration.
There are two common types of reset that you can do on this device. This method requires your tablet to be working properly with accessible Settings. It is the most commonly used type of reset and also the most recommended.

But before that, make sure to create a copy of your important files as they will be deleted. When you’re ready, follow these steps to reset your tablet.
Access the Settings
Swipe down from the top of the screen to pull the notification panel down and tap the Settings icon. You can also just tap the Settings icon on the app drawer to do this.
Access General management
Scroll down a little bit to find General management and once found, tap on it. This is where you can find the option to reset your device.
Access the Reset options
Tap on Reset, which contains the reset options you can choose from. What we’re looking for here is the option to Factory reset the device. So tap Factory data reset.
Review some information
The next screen will show some information about your accounts, so take time to read it.
If you’ve already set up a lot of accounts, you will have to scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap Reset. But if you only have a few accounts, the reset button can be found immediately.Enter screen lock
After tapping Reset, you will be prompted to enter your PIN, Password or Pattern, before you can tap Delete all to proceed.
Verify your identity
If you’ve set up your Samsung account, you will be asked to enter the password to verify that it’s really you that want to reset the device.
If you’ve already set up the fingerprint security, you can use it to verify.
After the verification, the tablet will shut down and begin the reset.

The reset will take several minutes to complete, and mostly you will see a black screen as the tablet will reboot a couple of times and get stuck on the logo. If you think the battery is low, feel free to connect the device to its charger even if the reset is on-going.
