How to Activate and Use Galaxy S20 One-handed Mode

The following steps demonstrate the standard process of shrinking the Galaxy S20 display by activating an advanced feature called One-handed mode. Individual screenshots are likewise provided to serve as visual representations for those who are having trouble following textual instructions. Here’s how it works.
Start by going to the Apps screen then tap Settings.
To access the Apps screen, just swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen. You ca find the Settings among other app shortcuts or icons.
From the Settings screen, scroll down and tap Advanced features.
A list of advanced features and options to manage and utilize will be displayed.
Scroll down and tap One-handed mode.
This feature will allow you to adjust or reduce the screen size and layout in a way that can be controlled with one hand.
Toggle the switch next to Use One-handed mode.
Doing so will activate the feature.
You may opt to reduce display size with Gesture or Button.
Simply tap the radio button before Gesture to reduce display size by swiping down in the center of the bottom edge (swipe diagonally) of the screen.Otherwise, tap to select Button to reduce the display size by double-tapping the Home button.

One-handed mode makes UI elements easier for you to reach while using your phone with one hand. This is made possible at the entire UI size is reduced and pushed towards one of the lower corners of the screen.
To switch back to normal mode, simply tap on the black portion of the display. Doing so will exit one-handed mode right away.
