5 Best Video Stabilizing Gimbals For Galaxy S10E
The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus were devices we were expecting to see; however, the Galaxy S10E was a little more of a surprise, with Samsung announcing four total smartphones this time around. The Galaxy S10E does make sense though, coming in as a budget-level phone to compete with Apple’s own iPhone XR.

It still has an excellent camera, but smoothness of video is the major aspect that lacks. That’s something that’s common with most smartphones, but luckily, there’s an easy way to fix it – through a video stabilizing gimbal. Set your S10E in one of them, and it’ll use electronic motors to smooth out your content.
Not sure what the best one is to get? Follow along below and we’ll show you all of the top options available today. Let’s dive right in.
DJI OSMO Mobile Gimbal 2
DJI’s own OSMO Mobile Gimbal 2 is up first on our list. It’s the successor to the original Osmo Mobile gimbal; however, no matter what, it’ll bring excellent smoothness to your video recording. Set your Galaxy S10E inside, connect up over Bluetooth, and electronic motors work to give you the buttery smoothness that you would see in the cinema. This is actually much of the same stabilization technology that is found in DJI’s drones.

Zhiyun Smooth 4
Not quite as good as the Osmo Mobile Gimbal 2, the Zhiyun Smooth 4 comes up in second place. If you’re looking for something a little cheaper, or want to try something out other than DJI, this one is not a bad option! It works with all of the latest smartphones on the market, including the Galaxy S10E.
Like the OSMO Mobile Gimbal 2, the Zhiyun Smooth 4 does operate over Bluetooth. It does, however, last a pretty long while on battery, but you’ll just have to make sure that it’s juiced up. Just like the Osmo Mobile, there are a handful of shortcuts on the handle, and then there are plenty of those that allow you more precision over the Osmo Mobile.

Hohem 3-Axis Mobile Gimbal
Hohem comes up as number three on our countdown. It’s a little cheaper than the other two, but still offers much of the same functionality as the DJI and Zhiyun. It does have some unique factors, with the major highlight being that the gimbal is supposed to work with rugged and large cases as well. Got a Otterbox Defender on your Galaxy S10E? The Hohem is able to easily accommodate that. And as the title implies, this should actually work with three different axis’ as well, giving you plenty of unique recording positions.
On top of that, there are a handful of extra features that come equipped with the Hohem. It’s got face tracking, panoramic recording, and more. But, on top of that, the Hohem has a ton of extra features right on the handle for quick recording shortcuts. Naturally, there’s also a one-year warranty that protects you against any defects and problems.

Yomito 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal
Yomito might be a no-name brand out there, but it’s still an excellent option for smoothing up your video recording. Just like the DJI and the Zhiyun, the Yomito uses electronic motors to smooth out video very well, though maybe not to the extent of the DJI or Zhiyun. It comes in at around $110, which is around the same price as a DJI or Zhiyun, but significantly cheaper than buying a gimbal for a SLR or DSLR camera.
As you might expect, there are a ton of shortcuts right on the handle that you can access for things like start and stop recording, panorama, and more.

EVO Shift 3
And finally, we have the EVO Shift 3. It might come up as last on our countdown, but certainly not the worst of gimbals out there. It’s still an excellent choice, and easily operate with the Galaxy S10E by connecting up to Bluetooth. It’s one of the cleaner and smoother looking gimbals out there, but it does have a lot of similarities to some of the others — there are a bunch of extra features that can be managed right on the handle. These all operate over Bluetooth, and there are buttons for things like start and stop recording, panorama, zoom in and out, and so much more. There’s even a four-way joystick that you can use for more specific and precise adjustments.

Verdict
As you can see, there are a ton of excellent video stabilizing gimbals for the Galaxy S10E. The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is easily the best that you can buy today, but if you don’t want to pay that high price point that comes with it, any of the other four on our list will act as an excellent option.
