That said, you’ll be met with an ad every few minutes while you’re watching a film, but you won’t have to pay for Popcornflix straight out of your pocket. You do still have to create an account to watch Popcornflix, but you don’t have to enter in any credit card information or anything.
We really like this service because, even though it is free to use, it still has plenty of content available to watch. The only real “con” to Popcornflix is that the video quality isn’t as good as it could be — you’re really only getting quality close to a DVD, unfortunately.

Crackle is a great option to stream movies and TV shows for free. It’s actually an option that you probably haven’t heard of before, but this one is actually put together by Sony itself. There are just a couple of things to keep in mind, though. Crackle isn’t necessarily a great replacement for getting rid of your paid subscription services.
