Solved Samsung Galaxy S8 Not Connecting To The Internet

Although this is a solid performing phone there are instances when certain issues can occur which we will be addressing today. In this latest installment of our troubleshooting series we will tackle the Galaxy S8 not connecting to Internet issue and other related problems.

S8 Not Connecting To The Internet

Problem:   It has behaved very well for the last few years . .Just yesterday although it connects to my router, it does not connect to the internet. .   i get server not responding etc.  All other devices in my house are working perfectly through the same router. I have disconnectedly a few apps recently installed and done some housekeeping but it still won’t connect to the internet.

I don’t want to go down the factory reset route . . hope someone can help

Solution: The first thing you need to do right now is to check if the issue also occurs when the phone is connected to a different Wi-Fi network. If it doesn’t then the problem could be caused by your router. There might be a setting which is blocking your phone from going online. You should try restarting your router or check its settings. You should also try to forget the Wi-Fi connection from your phone then connect to it again.

In case the problem occurs even when the phone connects to a different Wi-Fi network then proceed with the steps listed below.

• Check if the issue occurs when the phone is started in Safe Mode. If it doesn’t then this could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
• Backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

S8 Wi-Fi Or Bluetooth Not Turning On

Problem: I have tried to soft reset, settings reset, but not factory new because I want to keep my apps, my problem is when I start my phone up it will not connect to WiFi and neither will my bluetooth, I don’t have a sim card but I was using the phone for a month before this happened, what do I do?

I have googled various solutions but nothing so far. I have even taken the phone to a Telstra store but not solution. Problem: Hi, My mobile set Samsung Galaxy S8 has developed a peculiar problem It was working all right with a wifi connection. Then, a week back it just stopped exchanging data, though it would show as connected; in this state even data exchange with my data connection would not flow. On ENABLING the ultra power saving mode, the data starts flowing. Disable the power saving, and everything just stops!! I have tried toggling the Bluetooth (which remains off) as also the Airplane mode, but to no avail. Can you help?

Problem: Hello!……I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S8 ….When I turn on the Wifi of my phone it turns on so slow and I have to wait for a while for the wifi till it turns on..and then till it connects to a certain wifi…..and my Wifi was not like this slow when I had it before a year .Do u know the solution for this problem….I would REALLY appreciate ur help .Thanks in advance.

Solution: You should try checking is a software glitch is causing this problem by doing a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset.
