J7 Keeps On Restarting

Problem: My phone keeps restarting and not coming on I get to the security pin part at the beginning off the start up and then it goes back to the Samsung logo and reboots, I’ve tried using all the different buttons and nothing helps, I recently downloaded an app from the internet so think it might be that but I can’t get onto my phone to delete it.

Solution: If this problem occurred right after you downloaded an app then you can verify if an app is indeed causing the problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. If the phone boots in this mode then you will need to uninstall the app in this mode then restart your phone.

In case the issue persists then the best thing you can do right now is to start the phone in recovery mode then from here wipe the cache partition of the device followed by a factory reset. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data.

If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.

J7 Moisture Detected Error

Problem: Hello I purchased the Samsung Galaxy J7 a month ago, Just last night it started not to charge, in my notification screen it said there was moisture. My phone hasn’t been near any water.. since then i’ve been trying to charge it with no luck.! The charge screen comes on for a second but then shuts off. Right now my phone is completely dead.. could you please help.. thanks.

Solution: The first thing you will need to do in this case is to make sure that the charging port of the phone is free from moisture. Use a mini vacuum or a hair dryer to remove any presence of moisture in the port. You can also set aside the phone for at least 2 hours to allow the moisture to evaporate. Once the port is dry try charging the phone using a wall charger. In case the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. Once the phone has sufficient charge turn it on by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

In case the phone does not turn on then you will need to have this checked at a service center.

J7 Only Boots to TWRP Screen

Problem: okay i have looked everywhere and can’t find a single thing anywhere to help me.     i rooted my galaxy j7 sm-700p the other day and yesterday i downloaded youtube go … and as soon as i installed it it rebooted automatically into twrp..   no matter what i do every time i turn it on it will only go to twrp screen. I’ve wiped everything and recovered it from sd card I’ve gone into my files from my laptop and deleted the files I’ve downloaded and restored but nothing works.  please help me

Solution: The best thing you can do right now is to flash the updated stock firmware back to your phone using Odin. This way you can check if the problem is caused by a software glitch. You can get the stock firmware file as well as the instructions on how to flash your phone from the Sammobile website.

J7 Is Not Fast Charging

Problem: Samsung J7 slow charging. My phone will not fast charge at all. With Samsung cables and third party it will only regular or slow charge. I tried removing apps, safe mode, various cables, wireless charging, etc. My fiance’s phone is fine.

Solution: The first thing you need to do in this case is to clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air making sure that any dirt or debris stuck in the port is removed. Once this is done try to check if the phone will fast charge. If it still doesn’t then the next step is to check if the problem is caused by a software glitch. Backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete try charging your phone again. In case the issue persists then I suggest that you bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
