Samsung’s Galaxy Enhance-X App Expands Availability to Additional Devices

Samsung has expanded the availability of its powerful AI-powered image editing app, Galaxy Enhance-X, launching it for more premium Galaxy smartphones. This app, which debuted during the beta phase on the Galaxy S23 series, is now accessible through the Galaxy Store for additional high-end devices.

Powerful AI-Driven Photo Editing Tool

Galaxy Enhance-X leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning algorithms to provide precise and comprehensive photo editing capabilities. The app allows users to make improvements in their images, eliminating issues such as noise, blur, and loss of detail while requiring minimal photo editing skills.

The app features an intuitive one-tap image enhancement, as well as customizable adjustments for specific features like HDR and Moiré effect. These features ensure that users can extract the best possible results from all of their photos.

All-Around Image Improvement with Magic Feature

One of the most powerful tools within Galaxy Enhance-X is the Magic feature. With just a tap, this function employs AI and deep learning to refine any visual imperfections in photos automatically. This feature helps users achieve smoother-looking images with instant improvements on visual noise and blurry details.

Targeted Editing Functions for Enhanced Image Quality

In addition to general improvements offered by the Magic feature, Galaxy Enhance-X provides users with specialized functions for more targeted enhancements. Users can adjust HDR levels, which analyze highlights, shading, brightness, and contrast to expand the dynamic range of the image without compromising on quality.

Other advanced tools include Fix Moiré (designed for smoothing out patterns in images of screens), Remove Shadows (for eliminating intrusive silhouettes), Old Photo (for restoring and adding clarity to old or damaged photos), Brighten, Fix Blur, Sharpen, Remove Reflection and Fix Lens Distortion.

Expanded Device Compatibility

Originally introduced on the Galaxy S23 series, the app is now available for the following devices:

  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy S21 series
  • Galaxy S20 series
  • Galaxy Note 20 series
  • Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G
  • Galaxy Z Flip 3

Samsung has also confirmed plans to make the Galaxy Enhance-X app available on Galaxy A, Galaxy M phones, and Galaxy tablets in the near future.

Official Launch and Availability

The official launch of the expanded Samsung Galaxy Enhance-X is set for June 20. The application presently supports devices that are compatible with One UI 5.1 or above.
