Pairing A PS4 Controller With Galaxy S10

Time Needed : 2 minutes

The process is actually pretty straightforward as you’ll be connecting the controller to your phone using Bluetooth. Here’s what you need to do:

  2. Put the PS4 wireless controller in pairing mode.

To do this, you have to press and hold the PS and Share buttons for a few seconds. When the controller’s light starts to flash white light, that’s the sign that it’s in pairing mode.

At this point, we would like to answer some of the questions asked by our readers.

I use a Bluetooth headset when gaming. Can I have my controller paired with my phone while using my headset?

Yes, you can! You can pair both devices with your Galaxy S10 and there shouldn’t be a problem. That’s what I usually do. I’m not quite sure if there are Bluetooth headsets that won’t work with this setup but I know someone who can only connect the controller but not the headset. Try to see if it works for you, too.

Will the controller help me improve my gaming skills?

It depends. If you’re used to playing console games, it’s probably good to use a controller while gaming on your phone. But personally, I think having a controller has a bit of an advantage especially for shooter games like Fortnite, Rule of Survival, COD Mobile and the like. But you know what, practice can improve your gaming skills. If you’re serious about using a controller, then dedicate some time to practice.
